the summer after...

I know spring has just begun, and you're trying to relish in all its flowery glory, but if you're planning to travel this summer, you need to lock down plans NOW.

With more and more people getting vaccinated daily along with a year of sitting at home, I'm certain family travel will be huge this summer. Bigger than any other year, possibly. Kids are ready, parents are ready, and heck even, our pets are ready for a change of scenery! Whether you're planning a road trip or trip by plane, there's plenty to do that keeps you safe and still allows for freedom to leave the walls of home behind for a while.

The options are endless, but some of my top picks are taking an RV trip,

booking a family weekend retreat at camp, and spending the weekend at the lake close to home. We loved our time at Ebenezer Park in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The park surrounds lake Wylie and just had their grand re-opening. When we want to stay close to home, we tend to head to Lake Guntersville. The beach, mountains and world class fishing never get old.

No matter what you choose, decide soon and get it booked. Don't be stuck at home due to a lack of planning!
